About the Project
The YL Global Platform is a premium global ticket booking and fan engagement platform designed to connect K-POP fans worldwide. Built with a highly scalable custom architecture by ANIRIX, the platform provides reliable ticketing, secure payments, real-time QR validation, multilingual content, and a seamless experience across web and mobile.
Problems
Building a global K-POP ticketing and fan engagement platform required solving several complex challenges, including global payments, multilingual content, role-based access, ticket fraud prevention, and reliable event entry. The platform also needed to support high-volume traffic and remain dependable in real-world event environments with unstable network conditions, all within a strict 4-month MVP timeline.
The Challenges
Architecture & Synchronization Risks:Separating content management from core business logic introduced additional coordination and synchronization risks. The platform needed a reliable architecture to keep ticket, payment, user, and event data consistent across different systems.
Ticketing Fraud & Venue Latency:Preventing duplicate ticket usage in crowded venues was a major challenge. Users needed reliable access to their tickets while staff required fast validation, even when venue network conditions were unstable.
Global Payment Complexity:Supporting international customers required reliable payment processing, automated refunds, webhook handling, and integration with global payment infrastructure within a limited MVP development timeline.
Multilingual Operations Bottleneck:Managing products, event information, notices, and promotional content across multiple languages manually would have created a significant operational burden. The platform required an automated translation workflow for international users.
The Solutions
Fully Custom Backend:Engineered a custom Node.js, Express.js, and Prisma backend to centralize business logic, role-based access control, ticketing workflows, and transaction management.
Hybrid QR System:Combined the TOTP standard for reliable ticket QR generation with Redis-based validation to prevent duplicate ticket usage and enable fast verification at event venues.
"Smart Buy" Integrations:Integrated the PortOne SDK for global payments and automated refund workflows, while using the DeepL API to automatically translate partner content into five core languages.
Unified App Development:Utilized a single Flutter codebase to efficiently develop and release native mobile applications for both iOS and Android.

YL Seoul QR Code Ticketing & Entry System
The YL Seoul QR code ticketing system is a fast and secure ticket validation solution designed to provide seamless event entry. After a successful payment, the custom-built backend generates a unique digital QR ticket and delivers it directly to the user's mobile dashboard. At the event entrance, staff can scan the QR code and verify the ticket in real time. The system is designed to prevent duplicate entries and counterfeit tickets while keeping the scanning experience fast and simple for event staff.
